We work from Sofia, on the ground, alongside the licensed professionals appointed by the client.
We do not hold client funds, we do not manage assets on behalf of third parties, and we do not carry on regulated activities.

Why Bulgaria
Four points of context, public and verifiable at source. They are not a sales argument: they are the conditions within which the work is done.
- European Union since 2007, Schengen since 2025 — Bulgaria has been a member state of the European Union since 1 January 2007. Since 1 January 2025 it has been a full member of the Schengen area, including at land borders: goods and people move without internal border checks.
- Euro since 1 January 2026 — Since 1 January 2026 the official currency has been the euro, adopted at the fixed conversion rate of 1 EUR = 1.95583 BGN. Accounts, contracts and prices are expressed in the same currency used in Italy.
- Corporate income tax at 10% — The standard rate of corporate income tax is 10% (ZKPO, the Corporate Income Tax Act); tax on dividends distributed to individuals is 5%. Groups exceeding the thresholds of Directive (EU) 2022/2523 are subject to the national top-up tax.
- Labour costs and time zone — According to Eurostat figures on hourly labour costs, Bulgaria records the lowest value among the member states. The time zone is EET (UTC+2), one hour ahead of Italy: the working day overlaps almost entirely.
A note on method
Data verified in September 2026 against public sources: the Targovski registar i registar na YULNTS (Commercial Register and Register of Non-Profit Legal Entities), Eurostat, the text of the ZKPO and European Union legislation. Rates, thresholds and obligations change. This information is general in nature and does not constitute tax or legal advice: before any decision, the rules in force must be checked with a licensed professional.
How we work
An extract from the method. The full stages, the terms of engagement and our position on conflicts of interest are set out in Method.
01 · Framing
An initial meeting to define the objective, the constraints, the timescales and the budget. At the end we say whether the engagement falls within our scope. When it does not, we say so straight away.
02 · Documentary checks
Before proceeding we collect and read the documents: register extracts, deeds, title documents, contracts, outstanding obligations. Anything that cannot be verified is stated as such, in writing.
03 · Execution and coordination
We follow the transaction on the ground and coordinate the third parties involved. Reserved acts remain with licensed professionals and the works with qualified firms: they are appointed by the client and named.
04 · Reporting
Each stage closes with a written document: what has been done, what remains open, which deadlines apply and who is responsible for them. No progress is left to conversation alone.
Scope of activity
Stating the limits is part of the service. The full list of what the company does and does not do is set out in Scope of activity.
- Regulated activities — SAURON LTD does not provide investment services, banking or payment services, nor insurance intermediation or credit intermediation, and it is not entered in any register of the KFN (Financial Supervision Commission) or of the BNB (Bulgarian National Bank), the competent authorities in Bulgaria. It does not receive or hold client money.
- Legal, notarial and accounting opinions — We do not issue legal, notarial or accounting opinions and we do not represent the client in court. Those acts are for licensed professionals, appointed directly by the client; we coordinate the work and keep to the timescales.
- Construction works — We do not carry out works ourselves: the company is not entered in the Tsentralen profesionalen registar na stroitelya (Central Professional Register of Builders). We select, contract and supervise registered firms, which are answerable for the execution.
- Hospitality and travel — We do not organise or sell travel and we do not run categorised accommodation facilities: the company is not entered in the Natsionalen turisticheski registar (National Tourism Register). For properties intended for these activities we handle the property side and the coordination of the works.
An initial meeting
The initial meeting serves to set down in writing the objective, the constraints and the scope. If the engagement does not fall within our areas, we say so at that point.
